The Catholic church has finally elected a new Pope. The office of the papacy has now moved from Europe to America and an Argentine is on that seat bearing the title of Francis 1.
76 year old Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio from Buenos Aries in Argentina has been named the 266th Pope.
The white smoke confirmed this.
