How to stop Etisalat data auto-renewal/subscription

I know you would have been embarrassed by the network when it suddenly deducts a certain amount of money from your account anytime you recharge and it has been giving you serious headache... don't worry any more because the antidote to that rubbish is now at your disposal.

But before we look at how to stop this headache, lets look at the cause first. The menace happened or happens any time you subscribe for a certain data plan with the network. For instance, if you subscribe for 10MB, which is, the daily data plan, after you have exhausted it or it has expired, the network will automatically renew it for you as a way of saving you the stress of doing it yourself. But the funniest thing that they don't know is that we don't subscribe everyday. We are Nigerians and as such, we manage a lot.

Simply dial>>>*229*0# OR
send STOP in a sms to 229.
