Webstarts
allows you to add HTML code from other websites such as YouTube, twitter etc so that you may display 3rd party
applications within your Webstarts website.
Once you have the HTML code you wish to use, you can add it to your webpage by clicking Insert > HTML Code. Paste the code into the window provided and then click ‘OK’. This will drop the code into your Webpage where you can then drag and drop it where ever you like. Once saved, your new HTML code application can be viewed by visiting your web page.
Note: Certain ‘javascript’ HTML applications do not properly render themselves while in the editor view. In the place of the code you just added you will see an image marked ‘Javascript’, which is normal. To view the application, simply view the web page.
