24-year-old man arrested after caught having sex with a statue

An Austrian man was arrested by cops after he was found having sex with a statue.
Matthias Maier, 24, was caught bonking a bronze lion in the Bulgarian city of Russe.
He was discovered by two policemen with his trousers around his ankles.
Maier was arrested and charged with obscenity on a public place.
The student told a court he was drunk and had never been in trouble with the police before.
He pleaded guilty and was handed a one year suspended sentence and ordered to pay costs of £20.
